On the 24th of July we our African tour took us to the nation of Sudan.

We had a great time with our tour guides, 
Doha Hussein and Hossamaldeen Saad Ibrahim

Facts about Sudan
Sudan It's a developing country.
Although Sudan is a country very rich in natural resources  Gold, oil,  Animal wealth, agricultural land, which make up 80% of the area of Sudan . But the mismanagement of the former regime has not been used for resources.
 And with the secession of South Sudan  in 2011 and the departure of half of the oil supplies, the economic system began to deteriorate.

-So what is the major source of national income in Sudan now?

Agriculture and its exports, where Sudan is the first source of sesame, Cotton, wheat, and petroleum.
 One of the areas famous for the cultivation of sesame is the state of Al-Qadarif
And we have a project on the island to grow cotton in the island state.
 And in the northern state it is grown by dates, lemons, oranges and other citrus.

The impact of Covid-19 in the affairs of the country.

 About COVID-19 We've been in complete closure for over two months.
People's response to quarantine was about 90%
 But it wasn't a complete shutdown. Set a schedule for adult shutting down and closing shops
 Where pharmacies and shops specialized in food are open from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. while maintaining social spacing and guidelines.
But the bridges leading to Khartoum were closed. But a week ago, life was normal.

The film industry in Sudan has a sad story.
 After its prosperity and reached the summit with 55 cinemas
Then it started to deteriorate and it was all shut down because of a decision coming from the government at the time that
 And he was one of the most famous movies and the first one that produced is (A homeless childhood, in 1956)
 And( Tajog) movie and it is a movie that tells a love story
 But the film industry started coming back, so last year (you will die at Twentieth) Directed by the Directed by the director   (Amjad Abu al-Ala) . It is the first feature film in 20 years in Sudan.


The University of Khartoum is in the best in terms of curricula, educational materials  and university doctors.

 Okay Although the dominant language in Sudan is Arabic, the population speaks more than 300 other languages,there are many tribes with their own local languages.

We don't choose our countries we're born in, but if I have a choice, I'll choose all the countries of the world. Why do I have to choose one country when I can travel to it all and consider it all my country.

What can you tell young Africans out there?

We can do a lot if we believe in ourselves.
It's better to come late than never.
Africa was the first continent and greatest continent, and we can re-glory it.
