At the core of our programs is a desire to create an intellectual class in Nigeria. A group of people who have been liberated by the power of education. We are creating a new kind of society where everyone reads, a society that will extinguish mediocrity, selfishness, and illiteracy. Our vision is to raise a generation leads, to do this we are employing the tool of reading.
On 4th November 2018, the BookTroverts gathering took place at Late Galadima’s Compound in Angwan Rukuba. It was a moment of motivation, sharing and inspiration for what we have been doing. During the gathering, our BookWorms were awarded and all those who took part in the Weekly Book Review Challenge received Certificates of participation.
While this may be the first gathering, it sure was a peak performance and a good moment to connect with like minds.
